If you're looking to calculate your GPA from your college course grades, you came to the right place. GroverScore's college GPA calculator is quick, easy and intuitive.
Unlike most GPA calculators, GroverScore is a free analytical platform that does more than just track your GPA. It allows you to save your courses, scores and GPA, access robust analytics, view GPA historical performance and see how you rank against your classmates.
If you are looking to simply calculate your GPA, you can use the GPA calculator to your left. Be sure to save your courses when you’re finished so your GPA is preserved.
How to calculate your GPA:
To begin calculating your GPA, first click on "Pick the Semester". Once the drop down appears, choose your active semester to begin calculating your GPA.
Use the drop-down menus to select your subject (Accounting), course level (101), credits (3) and grade (A). Then, fill out all the rows in the GPA calculator until all of your courses have been populated. All grades range from A+ to F on a 4.0 GPA scale.
At any time, you can also add new semesters and courses by selecting the "Add a Semester" and "Add a Course" buttons. You can also remove courses by clicking the trash icon.
Calculating your GPA does not need to be a static exercise. You can experiment with your GPA by tinkering with particular courses within the GPA Calculator. If grades have not been posted, reach out to your professor or use the Grade Calculator to make a reasonable grade assumption.
Once your grades have been populated in the GPA Calculator, your GPA will calculate automatically. Updating your GPA throughout the year will enable you to see if you are on track to reach your goals. The feedback you receive after calculating your cumulative GPA score will let you know if you need to adjust your study habits and work routines.
Your GroverScore is the summation of your course work (GPA on a 0-100 scale) well as your networking score.
Using your course grades and GPA, our algorithm calculates your overall GroverScore and ranking position. We use the below GPA conversion table to translate your GPA into a GroverScore.
While your GPA is directly correlated to your GroverScore, your GroverScore can be boosted by Networking. Simply refer friends to the platform through our networking share feature and receive up to 5 additional GroverScore points.
Networking Score = .20(referral) * 5(points)
While your GPA is the main driver of your GroverScore, we believe networking is a core skill that not only helps you land a job but also climb the corporate ladder.
What's the biggest issue with existing GPA calculators?
With GroverScore, your course submissions are always saved for future use. Whether your logging your historical course grades, an active semester or a GPA estimate, your courses and GPA will always be preserved.
Analytics are at the heart of GroverScore and are designed to tell you how you're performing in specific subjects and course types, so you can continue to focus on GPA improvement.
Subject analytics are broken out into the 5 core areas of study: Business, Humanities, Math, Natural Science and Social Science. We have also added Seminars/Programs to account for those first-year seminars, senior thesis and other projects that award credit and directly impact your GPA.
Sometimes seeing fluctuations in your GPA is the trigger that sets you off on a corrective path. The Grade Timeline was designed to show you trend lines of your GPA performance on a semester by semester basis, so you can compare your GPA performance against your University and Major’s overall GPA averages and set new benchmarks for achievement.
We believe that competition is a healthy motivator and will lead you on a path of GPA self-improvement. That’s why we included Rankings.
Rankings were designed to help bring you context on your performance so that you can continue pushing yourself to reach new heights.
